Deutz TBG 632V16 Gas Engine Crankshaft Repair in Iran

RA Power Solutions with more than forty three years of experience in repair of crankshaft up to 700 mm diameter recently executed repair of crankshaft of Deutz TBG 632V16 Gas Engine in a power plant based in Iran.

For executing the repair of Deutz crankshaft of Gas Generator installed in a power plant in Iran, our team had to obtain a VISA which took some time. On arrival the crankshaft was inspected and following main observations were noted.

• Crankpins having standard diameter of 205 mm developed ovality and rough bearing marks.
• The crankpin no. 02 and 04 had excessive ovality.
• It was jointly decided with the client to undertake the grinding of crankpin no. 02 and 04 to the first step size of 0.5 mm.
• The remaining crankpins were polished by the special purpose onsite crankshaft polishing carried by our technicians.
• The crankpin no. 1,3,5,6,7 and 8 were only polished although the ovality was up to 0.11 mm this was accepted under deviation and the client was instructed to operate the engine on the less load and keep on monitoring the condition of bearing periodically.
• The client based in Iran was satisfied with services offered by RA Power Solutions technicians.
