Turbine Bearing Manufacturing and Rebabbitting of Old Bearing
Manufacturing of white metal babbitt bearings is our main business. We manufacture babbitt white metal bearings in different grades of white metal. The bearings are manufactured as per the drawing or as per the sample provided by the end user.
Rebabbitting of old bearings
It is obvious that after running of white metal babbitt bearing continuously, it develops taper, ovality and rough surface. This needs to be attended by rebabbitting of the old bearing. We undertake rebabbitting of old bearings of turbine, rotor, alternator engine and for all applications up to the outer diameter of 1500 mm.
The rebabbitting is undertaken by a centrifugal casting process. With this process of rebabbitting, the bonding of the white metal to the steel lining is strong and has a considerable high life span.
The bonding of white babbitt metal is checked by ultrasonic method or by dye-penetrant testing. To undertake the inspection, we have inhouse level 2 qualified NDT technicians who also undertake dimensional inspection of bearings as per the drawing or a sample.
We have recently undertaken rebabbitting of turbine bearing having capacity of 950 MW manufactured by BHEL.

Observation of turbine bearing:-
The bearing after rebabbitting has been commissioned.Prior to the fitment of the turbine bearing the turbine shaft Diameter was polished by RA Power Solutions technicians with our own designed and manufactured On site Turbine shaft polishing machine and is performing satisfactory.

We maintain extensive stock of bronze, gun metal, steel, cast iron and white metal to make any emergency requirement of rebabbitting,repair of old bearings and for manufacturing of new bearings.
We also submit material certification for the white metal grade used for the rebabbitting purposes.

Our speciality is in providing special under size of bearings which are required after grinding of crank pin and main journal. The bearings of oversize outer diameter are also manufactured these bearings with outer diameter are required when main journal housing of engine block is re bored.
Bearings for Yanmar Engine
Yanmar engines are very popular and these are installed in industry and as auxiliary engine on vessel. It is observed that the crankpin and main journal bearings of yanmar engines are not easily available. As a crankshaft repair company, we have experienced that our clients have to wait for 3-6 weeks to receive the undersize or special size bearings of crankpin and main journal of yanmar engine. Understanding this problem, we maintain ready stock of yanmar engine bearings standard and undersize. These bearings can be supplied in a short notice all over the world through courier service with whom we have a time bound delivery commitment.
