Portable Construction for Onboard Use
Access inside an engine crankcase is always limited. The machine is lightweight and portable, allowing technicians to transport it easily to the repair location and install it within confined spaces.
Pneumatic Drive System
The crankshaft grinding machine is pneumatically driven, providing reliable power output while operating safely inside marine engine crankcases and other restricted work areas.
Grinding and Polishing with One Machine
The same machine performs both grinding and polishing operations. This reduces equipment handling during repairs while enabling the required Ra surface finish before the crankshaft is returned to service.
Precision Machining within OEM Tolerances
During crankshaft machining, maintaining journal geometry is critical. We continuously monitor journal dimensions throughout the grinding process to control ovality, taper, and the fillet radius while remaining within OEM regrind limits.
When required, the repaired journal is prepared for installation of the correct undersize bearing shells, ensuring proper hydrodynamic lubrication after the engine is recommissioned.

Our crankshaft grinding machine can be supplied for crankshaft diameters ranging from 60 mm to 700 mm.
The machine has been designed specifically for onsite crankshaft grinding where removing the crankshaft from the engine is either impractical or uneconomical.

Onsite Grinding from 30 mm Diameter
For smaller crankshafts, we also supply a portable crankshaft grinding machine capable of grinding and polishing crankshafts having diameters of 30 mm and above.
The machine allows repairs to be completed without removing the crankshaft from the engine block, reducing maintenance time and lowering repair costs.
